Created as a cottage more than a guest house, the Gite de Fougères en Beaujolais is available to rent for a weekend, a week, or even more, depending on the availability. It is fully furnished, with a very large kitchen, which will allow you to cook all the best French fresh products! Think decadent cheese, amazing fruits from the Rhone Valley, sumptuous wines and free range beef.
You will easily find some on all the local markets, including the one in Charlieu, a nearby medieval town. There, you’ll be happy to get cheese from the best cheesemonger in France, Mons, some pastries and chocolate at Pralus, and many locally produces vegetables and meat. On the other side of our valley, the Beaujolais vineyards will provide the beverage, without any doubt.
6 rooms, 13 guests, a garden, a living room, a barbecue, a tennis court, and even a lake. Holidays in France don’t get better than that. Wait… It does: you can even bring your horse, we’ve got room for it.
